Jez Franck

Human relationships with place, identity and the more-than-human world.

Jez Franck (they/he) is a multidisciplinary artist working with assemblage, plant inks, found objects, ritual and participatory practice.

Their work explores human relationships with place, identity and the more-than-human world, often drawing on folklore, queerness and grief for the natural world.

Their current work includes JourneySpiral, a developing folk practice of walking, making, gathering and re-enchantment, and The Oracle of Gender Designation, a playful interactive installation exploring gender, bureaucracy and the glorious impossibility of fitting human beings neatly into boxes.

Alongside their own practice, Jez creates and facilitates accessible, neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+-inclusive spaces for people to create, explore and connect.
