Rachel Jones

Connection, belonging, wellbeing.

Rachel Jones is a multidisciplinary artist, educator, author and speaker whose practice explores connection, belonging, wellbeing and lived experience through collaborative and participatory arts projects. Working across photography, installation, projection, street art, community engagement and creative writing, she creates spaces where personal stories can be shared, celebrated and transformed into collective experiences.

Much of Rachel's work is informed by her experiences of wild swimming, neurodiversity and community participation. Her projects often centre on women's voices, identity, resilience and the relationships people build with places, landscapes and each other. Through co-creation and dialogue, she works with participants to develop artworks that are inclusive, accessible and rooted in authentic experience.

Alongside her artistic practice, Rachel is an experienced educator who leads whole-school training and develops creative approaches to learning and wellbeing. She is the author of three books, including a book on wild swimming, and has presented a TEDx talk on creativity. Her work brings together artistic practice, education and social engagement, reflecting a commitment to making creativity accessible to diverse audiences.

Rachel is currently developing larger-scale participatory and immersive projects that combine storytelling, projection, sound and installation to amplify underrepresented voices and foster meaningful connections within communities.
