Based on the Isle of Wight, Jim graduated from Solent University in 2023 at a rather mature 63 after studying photography. From looking at the world around him and his place within it, creating surrealist images that begs the viewer to ask questions about how we manage the environment surrounding us, to the interaction of people and place, how each shape and influence the other.

When not behind the lens, Jim can be found wielding a guitar and providing the vocals for ‘MKIII’, an island based rock band.
